We are fully committed to the wellbeing of all of our clients and teachers and require all to comply with our health and safety guidelines. They are dictated by the particular nature of the close work we do, our commitment to quality teaching and the needs of the people who come here.
The guidelines are as follows:
- Do not attend your session if you are suffering from any symptoms indicative of any contagious condition. Please cancel the moment you are concerned. We have a 24 hour cancellation policy but apply this reasonably.
- Please advise your teacher at the start of your session if anything is new about your health or your physical wellbeing. Any new pains or aches, any medical advice, any incidents since the last session. No matter how apparently unrelated or trivial, we need to know!
- Pilates equipment is loaded with springs and moving parts and these can be hazardous if care is not taken. Please only use or adjust the equipment under the guidance of your teacher.
- You will be responsible for ensuring the equipment and tools you are handling meet your own hygiene standards. This means you are expected to clean the equipment you have used at the end of your session.
- You are required to bring a clean small towel and change into clean socks (grip socks are best) at the start of your session. The towel allows you to protect your face when lying prone or sidelying on a cushion, The socks are needed for hygiene reasons, as feet go where hands and other body parts go.
- If you wish the teacher to wear a mask, let us know. You are welcome to wear a mask at any time.
