    Ankle Circles

    Your feet need to be able to move freely to be useful. Strong, supple feet deliver shock absorption for your body and propulsion for movement.

    1. Sit where you can comfortably hold one shin and keep your other leg stable on the floor.
    2. Clasp your shin (tibia) to keep it motionless through the exercise.
    3. Circle your foot at the ankle to its maximum range, one direction ten times. Let the foot and toes respond to the movement.
    4. Then circle in the opposite direction ten times. Repeat each way on this foot.
    5. Repeat with the other foot.
